My Garden Reminds Me
I walked into my garden and found this bloom partially hidden from view. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
🌺 It reminded me to acknowledge and be grateful for Mother earth and the simple yet glorious beauty she displays.
🌺 It reminded me to say a special "thank you" to the many amazing people I had the joy and privilege to work and collaborate with this year. Thank you especially to Emily Wilkinson, Gail Hurley, Courtney O. Lindsay (PhD, PMP), Matthew Bishop (Dr) at RESI, Nadia Henry C.Dir at CARTAC, Juan Carlos Vilanova Pardo at PFTAC, Joanne Allin at ComSec, and Pia Zanetti at IDB.
🌺 Thank you too to all the debt managers, from the Caribbean to the Pacific, that I engaged with and learned from.
🌺 Seeing that bloom reminded me too that there is life beyond debt management, pressing deadlines, endless meetings, contentious views, and volumes of reports.
🌺 It reminded me that I, we, must take time out to rest, reflect, restore, recalibrate, and rejuvenate.
So as this year closes and the festive season reaches its peak, I hope that my many friends and colleagues have the opportunity to, even if just for a moment, take a walk in their garden (real or imagined) and feel grateful for the simple joys of life. 🌺
Giving thanks and always aiming to add value. All the best in 2025.
